Yes the Board and management buying back in would most certainly help market sentiment for BOE. The market hated it when management sold their shares at circa $5.60. Obviously it was a good call for them to sell at that price, and even after paying a huge amount of CGT, they would still be well ahead if they repurchased some shares today at circa $2.50-2.60.
So the question a lot of people have is....why aren't they doing it? Are they restricted in some way, or do they see fair value being lower than the current share price?
