Thought I would create a thread for newcomers here once this stock takes off. Current timeline and key events are listed below
12 APAS machines have been sold to customers since product launch in Mar 2024
- 9 machines purchased by Astrazeneca - $7.2 million contract
- 1 machine purchased by Bristol Myers Squibb - contract value undisclosed
- 1 machine purchased by Novacina - $0.7 million contract
- 1 machine purchased by Quest Diagnostic Group - leading provider of clinical laboratories
Currently there are no other technology that can automate contact plate and settle plate reading. Leader in its own respect.
Any pharmaceutical customer who have sterile facilities will benefit from this machine.
Worth to note that Astrazeneca have given funding in the past to develop this technology, and the most recent announcement of the second purchase order solidifies the use of this machine. (Why would they have a repeat order if the machine does not work?- ask yourself that).
Thermofisher is their official distributor. With their recent sales they could be cf+ by mid next year.
Addition revenue that the company has hinted at is validation of contact plate automation. Once this is finalised "annual license fees will apply to
the use of this new analysis module increasing the Company’s annual recurring revenue on any of AstraZeneca’s APAS®
instruments". Recurring revenue from use of machine annually is a big bonus with incoming cf.
At $32 million MC, with at least ~$8-10 million in sales since launch in March, this stock looks primed with any notice of new customers. Not trading far off from its 52 week low, seems like its flying under the radar.
