Cheers Wassa, I was not able to attend that yesterday. I will say Nic is starting to deliver more confidently. Perhaps the recovery improvements and Roswell operational success is helping? Interesting to see him discuss the Roswell extensions indeed, clearly the orebody is bigger than the MRE.... but how big and when might ALK explain it to the market?
Nic mentioned an update in early Jan regarding production, the paste plant, fine grind/recovery rates. Interesting he mentions expanding the Tommi MRE (but not specifically, i.e. Roswell... Caloma?). He then does mention late Jan will see San Antinio results.
Whilst the rising POG is a nice tailwind for ALK right now, as it's in it's heaviest capex period, it also bodes well for when they start building cash next quarter.
Intriguing to hear his very brief thoughts on ALK focus' on in-organic growth opportunities...
I am hopeful that ALK is thinking hard on how to better explain to the market that it has a 10+ LOM for Tommi..... While that goes against the nature of U/G orebodies and their rolling reserve builds, ALK needs to categorically prove that it is actually a step above the likes of CYL, BC8 and more on par with PNR.
