The use of a title “Ms” to reinforce that this is a WOMAN (one of comparatively few CEOs on the ASX). Is “Mr” routinely added when commenting on male CEOs?
The confidence that would be applauded, even expected, in a man, is portrayed as a “stench of entitlement”. There’s a certain demure persona that is still expected of a woman (which can then be pounced on as uncertainty).
If it turns out that IMU is currently in an essential “radio silence” over something that’s going on, requiring strict care in broader communications, I wonder how many who have performed their character assassinations from the safety of their anonymity will issue an apology.
