That kind of leave is what school teachers have every year!! Who doesn’t like to spend Xmas with the family and have some time off. I don’t blame him , kinda wish I had some leave as well!
Across the board all mining companies in Mali are moving to the new code, with some increases in ownership and royalties. I don’t really think this is that bad as from what I read it’s been on the cards for a while and they have still invested in the expansion of the mine there. The “government “ have an interest in them making money and generating employment opportunities for locals.
The recent drop in price does was over done and now does not even factor in Syama.
Money will flow back in once some more numbers come out and investors can see how much they are making and can continue to make in the future.
