Interesting how everyone sees this differently. You have basically described my perfect outcome for NEU - go it alone with 2 years to continue investing prior to the first phase 3 result which (I believe) is massively skewed in our favour. Gives me 2 more years to continue investing and maximise share price value. Without wishing it upon the share price the lower it goes the more I can buy. Name me another Australian biotech that could fund 2 phase 3s and 4-5 phase 2s over next few years without raising capital.
I would much prefer this outcome to a near term relatively lowball takeover but understand everyone's position is different with respect to a bird in the hand etc
