Did you hear that Peter Dutton wants to substantially increase gas up to 18% of the energy fuel mix.
Thats absolutely outrageous.
I note todays gas price in Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide all trading significantly higher than the $12Gj price cap (Great job MK)
To commit and provide 18% of gas to the NEM we will have to see substantial investment in gas.
Pipelines and current infrastructure can't provide feedstock for the projected 18%..
