I don’t see Aus Super letting any takeover happen as it currently stands.
I believe that there are still 3 series convertible notes outstanding (series 1, 3 and 4) and Aus Super owns c.32% of Syrah. The notes rank equally to other debt.
They could potentially convert these into equity if required. Increasing their ownership %. Then launch their own bid for the company - or in conjunction with a consortium of international (USA?) buyers.
