i am currently drilling on neighbouring stockton mine on the coast here,which is run by an alliance bewteen solid energy,edi downer,word has it the alliance has offered to buy bathursts coal,dont know how much truth there is in it but would not be a silly idea as the two mines will be close together and alliance already has infastructure in place etc,enviromental issues will be biggest obstacle,mines are about 400to 800 mtrs above sea level,kiwis snails,greenys big here,getting the coal down the hill to a port will be an issue as well as trains are already flat out keeping up with alliance coal,no downramp here,i actuall hope this mine goes ahead,wouldnt mind drilling for another company,cheers and gl
