Best discover the capital structure of the company: how many shares are issued, how many options and performance bonuses, if any, have been issued and are due to be granted. It will be very difficult to find out but it is your right as a shareholder to know. Once you have that information you can then discover how many shares you have which will reveal your percentage of equity in the company. After that the financial progress of the company's revenues will give an indicator of the likelihood of its success and ultimately when it can be listed on a major exchange one day in the future, or sold to another company as a bolt on. It will be a very long term punt and will most likely be hard to get the information you need.
