If UBS is operating to the instructions of "someone" who is looking to take out NEU, I'm not sure if the logic stacks up.
If and when NEU officially puts itself on the market, I'd be astounded if there are not at least a handful of interested parties.
I can't imagine that UBS is putting all its eggs in the one basket - surely an under-bidder with a substantial stake would want the best return for their investment and not be party to restricting the SP to such an extent that a low-ball offer from a "competitor" is successful.
