i suspect part of it has been successful BUT they can't get a read on it - that should have been announced - there is data available and if it was subject to design contract negotiation it was possibly held back
that is however no excuse
either way Infineon are customising a memory macro platform without comprehensive data - it is not an off the shelf adjustment - but rather 'specifically designed' - for a yet to be successfully manufactured and functional 20nm ( to contract 60nm in this way is pointless commercially as there are far better solutions on that node ie far more cost effective)thats' exactly right - there is PL5 data and it should have been released in yesterdays announcement OR a week prior whether complete or not - you have to ask why it has still not been made available imo - those who asked that at the AGM should be rightly pissed at the not material line spouted - it was material enough to signa design agreement ffs
plenty of justified emotion due to all the smoke and mirrors - some punters twigged it a few months back when they noticed these guys all coming off different pages
