Heard a little rumour last week that part of the urgency to pay off previous company owners (i.e. Triserve,the Survey Company NMS purchased).

The rumour is that with the original sale contract of Triserve to NMS, it was written into the contract that IF NMS does not make good with its final purchase payment to the owners of Triserve, then the ownership of Triserve reverts back to the original owners and all previous payments made by NMS to the owners are non re-fundable.

Hows that for a great contract to have when selling a business.

Just a rumour, but a good one.
