Ann: Orient East returns 2066g/t silver equivalent, page-9

I wish these guys would stop reporting drill intercepts in Ag Eq. I would prefer that they just settle on a cut-off grade and report Ag Pb and Zn grades at Orient as just a plain vanilla polymetallic deposit and not a pure silver project.

Pulling apart the latest Orient East vein intercepts and extracting the true widths and grades that would be economically minable (i.e. stuff that is better than 31g/T Ag with Pb or Zn grades better than 4-5% combined I can see at least three vein systems with approx 300m of strike length and at least 150m of down-dip length to give a volume of about 320,000 cu metres which is a ballpark 865Kt at say 100g/T Ag 27g/T In, 2.5% Pb & 2.46% Zn. This calculation is extremely rough and is stuff that is only proven by existing drilling, and does not count for any further strike extensions and down dip extensions of the vein sets so that is all upside or blue sky volume and tonnage yet to be drilled. Turning the drill rig around and drilling towards the north has given them a good chance of intersecting and interpreting the mineralisation more logically at Orient East. With the other stuff at Orient West I could envisage a doubling or tripling of the number of vein sets and the subsequent volume of potential ore if things worked out for them, and although I think their exploration target is a bit on the optimistic side I can see some geological upside here.

I can't see lower-grade stuff than that being mined and trucked from the hills behind Herberton to a mill somewhere being especially economic, the grade will need to carry the trucking costs and road upgrades as well as the open pit mining costs and have enough juice in it to attract someone to mill and process it.
