I've been looking at sunland too. Years ago bought in at $2.25, sold at $3.50, watched it go all the way to almost $5 and then back to 30c. So for a while was cursing and then felt like I dodged a bullet.
Still watching now but uncertain if things have turned the corner. I think you'll find the -ve cash flow from ops was due mainly to the purchase of new sites. As they develop you will see related cash inflows.
They have enough cash to keep buying back their own shares. Buybacks tend to worry me. If you're buying back your own shares it generally means your business has got no opportunities. Having said that, spending cash this way might stop it from another Dubai debacle.
We'll wait and see I suppose, they seem to be meandering through until the boom times return. Could be waiting a while.
