Agree with your sentiments.There is too much 'legal' corruption, no audits, watchdogs, or anyone to hold pollies and the gov departments accountable. They are all in it for a free ride. It's a game of keeping a cushy job at the expense of a nation's progress.
We could have had one of the strongest economies in the world, we have all the resources all the land. Oh well, let's see how things go this time round. The golden age of ship out stuff to China, and then import landfill back to Australia for maximum profit can only last so long. Population is slowing, the billionairs are panicking becuase the infinite growth economy model doesn't work anymore (especially when only the top 1% benefit).
On topic if rnu, it's good to keep transport costs down, although shipping is not particularly costly. More importantly keeping critical mineral processing on Western shores is going to be our biggest plus. Let's see if it gets off the ground.
