It might be good practice to take some of the "brown noise machine" off ignore and review what they’ve been said about you, I don't know it could have been just good things. But if not request moderation for the most egregious of failures to abide by HC TOU
To be honest in hindsight, responding to their attacks with cynical jibes of my own was wrong. Having them on ignore was also a mistake—I had to take them off ignore to review their posts and report https://hotcopper.com.au/help/code/ and https://hotcopper.com.au/help/cyber-bully-policy/
