I completely disagree and view it a different way, to me his reply could very possibly be saying, I don't need to cater to the impatient or the ones who are focused on the daily SP by pointing out the obvious, I have big deals that are being finalized, I will be judged on that. Wouldn't common sense tell you that if nothing is looming, he would actually feel inclined to advertise the latest announcements, maybe I am wrong just my opinion.
