To my knowledge they are an ADI which means they can carry out general banking matters. If so they must be the cheapest listed bank / financial service on the asx.
It also means they can pivot quite quickly with new products and take advantage of their extended cash flow reserve next statement.
They should be looking at transactions that circumnavigate the government's current investigation into fees to keep positive momentum.
I have written to them asking for them to look into developing an app that brings people into the merchants they service. Sort of like a discount card service powered by Tyro where people can scan discounts instore, merchants then have the opportunity to upsell and people going out in groups can settle bills by transferring money between themselves then through the app and settling with the merchant. It could also integrate ticketing for events etc where currently people do this through and between big 4 banks then settle on the ticketing website.
Its all added transactions with the opportunity to charge and grow their base if successful. And build one of the largest small business discount opportunities available.
Yet to hear back, don't ask don't get.
