BOOK ONE (DUNE JUNGLE) by Lord Aga
The slightly abridged Casa Bonita version
The beginning...
Once upon a time, in a lush and vibrant kingdom nestled deep within the heart of a vast jungle, there lived a community of intelligent monkeys. These monkeys were not like any other; they possessed remarkable intelligence and skills that allowed them to build magnificent monuments and mine precious gold. The kingdom was ruled by the wise and benevolent King Ross, who was loved and respected by all his subjects. The high priest, Jamie, was a revered figure who guided the monkeys in their spiritual and cultural endeavors. The monkeys lived in harmony with the humans known as the Thais. The Thais admired the monkeys for their industrious nature and their ability to create wonders from the resources of the jungle.
The two communities shared a bond of mutual respect and cooperation, and together they thrived in a land of abundance and prosperity. The monkeys' kingdom was a sight to behold. Towering monuments made of intricately carved stone stood as testaments to their architectural prowess. These structures were adorned with gold, mined from the depths of the A Pit the diligent monkeys laboured tirelessly. The gold was not only a symbol of wealth but also a representation of the monkeys' hard work and dedication. King Ross was a just and fair ruler who ensured that his kingdom flourished. He would on occasion listen to his subjects' needs and carry them out accordingly.
"I love our King! Let's have a holiday to honour his greatness and wisdom. Hey, that's a brilliant idea, Oldfolk! You're a genius, Denial. Yeah, I know"
He was known for his wisdom and compassion, and his subjects adored him. High Priest Jamie was the spiritual leader who guided the monkeys in their rituals and ceremonies, sometimes he would go off to distant shores and tell other Kingdoms how prosperity made them all happy. He was a source of inspiration and strength to all these Kingdoms, and his teachings were revered by all. Sometimes he would get carried away and say things that were not true. But it didn't really matter he was making friends everywhere and that made High Priest Jamie happy.
"I'm bored sitting around watching these monkeys work. Can I go on an adventure to tell other kingdoms how we're the bestest? Maybe later, have you done your chores around the kingdom? Ok if I do them can I go?, All the other High Priests get to go."
The harmony between the monkeys and the Thais was a testament to the power of cooperation and mutual respect. The Thais provided the monkeys with tools and resources, while the monkeys shared their knowledge and skills. Together, they built a society that was the envy of all who heard of it. However, this idyllic existence was not to last.
"Gymjunky, who that coming towards us...LG, its Prayut I can see him through woods from trees."
One day, a great general named Prayut, who was known for his ambition and cunning, came across the industrious monkeys working in their gold mines. He was astounded by the wealth and prosperity of the monkey kingdom and saw an opportunity to seize the gold for himself. Prayut devised a plan to take control of the gold mines. He gathered his forces and launched a surprise attack on the monkeys. The peaceful kingdom was thrown into chaos as Prayut's soldiers stormed the mines and took control and told the moneys to get out of their lands. The monkeys, who had never known conflict, were caught off guard and were unable to defend themselves.
King Ross was furious when he learned of Prayut's treachery. He knew that the gold mines were not just a source of wealth but a symbol of the monkeys' hard work and dedication. Determined to reclaim what was rightfully theirs, King Ross decided to take Prayut to court. The trial was held in the grand hall of the monkey kingdom, a magnificent structure adorned with gold and precious stones. The hall was filled with monkeys and Thais who had come to witness the proceedings. King Ross stood before the court, his eyes blazing with determination. Prayut, confident in his power and influence, stood defiantly before the court. He argued that the gold mines were now under his control and that the monkeys had no right to reclaim them. However, King Ross was not deterred. He presented evidence of the monkeys' hard work and dedication, and he argued that the gold mines were a symbol of their heritage and identity. High Priest Jamie took the stand and spoke passionately about the spiritual significance of the gold mines, most just fell asleep and asked High Lord Jamie to sit down. He explained that the mines were not just a source of wealth but a sacred place where the monkeys connected with their ancestors and their heritage. His words resonated with the court, and many were moved by his heartfelt testimony, and that they were all getting bored to death of his endless ranting. The trial was long and arduous, but King Ross and High Priest Jamie never wavered in their resolve.
Miningnut, Ah excuse me I have the largest collection of bananas in this forum and I demand a voice!
They fought tirelessly to reclaim what was rightfully theirs, and their determination inspired the monkeys and the Thais alike. In the end, justice prevailed. The court ruled in favor of King Ross and ordered Prayut to return the gold mines to the monkeys. And on this day a great tablet was created buy the monkeys, this would be known from this day forward as the Thai-Ape Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA). The kingdom erupted in celebration as the monkeys and the Thais rejoiced in their victory.
