NIMBYism at its finest. This will be a headbutt all the way to actually mining. You will have all these people that drive cars, want green energy, have mobile phones and laptops and ride e-bikes and e-scooters, saying "save the planet". On the other hand they are saying "just save it somewhere else".

China has slowly but surely put a stranglehold on all the critical metals and they are not afraid to show their hand. They can do this because they have a 100 year plus political policy. The western or democratic world only has a "this political term policy".

The western world is waking up. Some of their subjects should wake up as well.

We have all these negative people saying "where is the money?" where is the DFS? where is the the up to date DFS?. These cannot be done until the ground rules are laid down. One of the first ground rules IE the EIA requirement has been ruled on. This saved 5-10 years of trying to get a ruling as to whether we can mine. Yet we have all these NIMBYs up in arms. "The umpire was unfair". Karen has got her back up. What is Karen going to say in 10-15 years when some foreign power is rattling their nation's cage and there is no modern fighting equipment to use because China shut off the critical metal supply. No! Karen will not get that far because she will be complaining that she cannot get a new I-Phone or a new battery for her Tesla.

UK, EU and US along with the western world, are not leaders, they are already 20 years behind the eight ball. They are trying to catch up.
