Interesting move up. I thought it had further to fall if the trouble persisted. In saying that, prior to the election SYR hit 27c and looked like it could improve into the NY. I feel like there's too much at stake for Balama not to proceed with SYR in charge - aside from SYR, supplies to Vidalia, and all ex China participants, along with the DOE. Of course the sovereign risk has never been so transparent. 5 years ago I was a tad naive as to the extent of risk in mining in Africa although there's plenty of examples of issues. Outside of whatever happens to SYR, Mozambique should settle for their own good and part of that would be not to discourage outside investment. What influence will Mandlane have going forward? Hopefully things improve even with Chapo if he takes on board the issues with previous government graft and corruption. Interesting couple of weeks ahead with the Mozambique govenment on the 15th and Trump on the 20th.
