Anna Bligh's South East Queensland's Water Grid Plan (ie ability to redirect drinking water from different water sources across SEQ) appears to be working. They have the Gold Coast Desalination Plant on standby to send drinking water to Brisbane (should local water treatment plants etc get knocked out of action).
