Even though my father was a smoker, I was never interested in smoking, never did any of the 'funny stuff' either, (except 2 experiments out of curiosity) - indulged a little bit in drinking (1 glass of good wine per night, after my girl died, but have stopped that now, too - I believe alcohol is much maligned but also misused . . . it makes me giggly and laughter is a good thing IMO ) re 'Funny Stuff' I read all the books by Castanedas and never twigged that they were instructions for drug users, just read them as straight shamanic insights - they are full of good philosophical stuff.
I never had enough time to bask in the sun, or anywhere much - I do sit on my back terrace now in the mornings, and listen to all that Mother Nature has to offer, but we do have a coolish winter here (Perth) - actually the only time I had a good tan was for my eldest daughter's first wedding - I made the girls' dresses, including mine, for which a tan was essential!!!
