I think there is no chance that Cynata come out now and address there being a recruitment issue. That’s simply because until the MSB trial commences, there is no issue. They can’t second guess how the hospitals they’re using will react until they’ve reacted - that would be naive.
Even with paediatric approval in the same condition, the MSB adult trial it won’t commence instantly, it will take a few months. Let’s assume they open recruitment in April and all 8 US hospitals Cynata are using are part of the 80% under BMT CTN. If CYP is still on track for guidance trial recruitment completion at June 30 2025, it should be 73% recruited by April. Even if you lose access to all the US locations after then, the trial should complete only 1 month later than scheduled. In the grand scheme of things, that is insignificant.
Perhaps when the results come out the contract will swap to diamonds?
