PNG isnt the best place to invest at times; however, it is improving. The government knows full well that harnessing partnerships with overseas investors is absolutely imperative and making sure projects get to operational stage is their end game.
Things seem to be heading in the right direction for HIG: (1)Ramu should surely get resolved (2)Freida is probably going to go forward (3)Gold and Copper are shining (4)Environment is improving notwithstanding Spain, Portugal, Greece and Timbuktu going too hell! (5)Star Mountain drilling may yield something
On another note,I remember ringing Your Money, Your Call about HIG about 18 months ago and they had Michael H. He didnt know anything about the company and so generously suggested I stay away. I was already an owner so the advice was taken with a grain of salt.
