Years ago my father in law owned one leg of a race horse. It never ran, let alone win, but it got him into the owners/trainers enclosure. I never saw him without a thick roll of notes in his pocket. Oh and the end to the story. The horse eventually ran one race and they all creamed it at 100 to 1. I would like to think it lived out its life in a nice green field. None of these fields are level.
