And every bull into 08 was wrong too. Plenty of good analysis on this thread and since no one here is trying to sell me something with their thoughts, it's probably the best place to listen to all perspectives.
I personally believe Australia got away with the GFC far too lightly considering the fairly large debt burden in the housing market and that a reckoning for us may still be on it's way. The world economic picture isn't a pretty one either and if it does take another dive, I don't think we will be so lucky the second time. Of course this is just my opinion based on my own reading and research.
Everyone's opinion here is worth reading imho as it paints a big picture of sentiment. Even that mega bear Hedgy is worth listening to occasionally lol. He was right last time...
