A Trump initiative. But FDA BANNED drugs treating physicians wanted to use contrary to the legislation you quote.

And ivm is X10 safer than paracetamol. It has virtually eradicated river blindness in Africa, billions of doses given.

Invermectin is a anti-parasitic drug that has proven to be effective against river blindness, not doubt they use a human formulation.

That in no way suggests it's effective with covid, quite the opposite it has not
