I'm increasing my weighting to copper equities ... but there is one thing that is eeriely similar to Lithium ... the supply/demand thesis wrt to the ability to increase supply (quickly) and the ever increasing demand for copper (above the rough 3% growth ... basic global GDP growth) which I get as its an extension of the electrification of everything ... and where there is electicity there is generally copper. Plus copper is directly linked to economic health (growth)

The market for copper is very large and that's a bif difference to Lithium. By some accounts present size is ~25Mt ... and at 3% CAGR that would make it ~50MT in 2050 (doubling every 25 years at 3% growth). Possible? Many say not (on the supply side).






Eerily similar to lithium (and graphite for that matter).
