Can somebody confirm whether owere mining is a subsidiary of signature??? Roger Bannister name, Project Manager Signature seems to pop up in owere mining news?

THE OWERE Mines Company Limited has donated GH10,000 towards the reconstruction of the local Police Station at Odumasi in the Asante Akim North Municipality.
The Project Manager, Mr. Roger Bannister, who presented a cheque for GH10,000 to the Odumasi Police Station Project Fund, stated that even though the Mine was yet to produce gold, the donation was to ensure the company's commitment to the social responsibility of the communities in which it operates.
Mr. Bannister also commended the Odumasi community for the initiative, and the support of the Municipal Assembly in raising GH5,000 and 480 bags of cement, and announced that the company had appointed two officials (Bannister and Gyebi) to serve on the Police Station Building Committee to help in their planning of activities.
The Project Manager also mentioned some other projects the company had undertaken in some communities, as the provision of a water pump for Atunsu, rehabilitation of a road at Obenemase, and donated a football to the Obenemase School.
Besides employing 20 youth for eight weeks to repair the roads on the Konongo-Odumasi Mines site, and increasing staff on site by 30 to revamp the mines, the company has also repaired a bridge at Kwakoko village, made a donation to a school at Nyinamponase, and donated 15 pairs of boots and 60 cutlasses for the National Farmers Day.
Mr. Barnnister as well disclosed that the company has paid over GH123,573 in compensation for damaged crops to farmers in the communities.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asante Akim North, Mr. Thomas Osei Bonsu, received the cheque on behalf of the Odumase community, and expressed his delight at the company's commitment.

He appealed to the company to engage the youth of the town in order to reduce the unemployment situation in the area.
He also urged them to prevent environmental degradation and environmental pollution, and to protect river bodies in the area.
Nana Brobe Offeh, Kyidomhene of the Odumasi Traditional area, who represented the Odumasihene, Nana Kofi Antwi II, thanked Owere Mines Company for the kind gesture towards the development of the new police station at Odumase.
Officials of the company, including Mr. Bill Oliver, Managing Director, Mr. Manvel Magratyan, Business Development Manager, Mr. Jim Gyebi, Mines Manager, Mr. Peter Yamoah, Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Bill Appiah, Director, and Mr. Kassim Adam, Chief Security Officer, were present at the presentation ceremony.
