While I generally agree particularly given DTL's propensity to get hit on results more recently regardless of what they contain, as shown in the graphic (E=Earnings), only to rebound shows timeframes can often dictate outcomes.
ie Trader as opposed to Investor. Obvious I know.
The OP did state "nibble" so I could see where that may suit one persons strategy but as always time will tell.
Personally I'll follow our strategy & look to add (more) once all the criteria both fundamental & technical we look at align. I still think the combination of the high amount of algo trading by a large fund wash trading this daily & the rather low volumes trading this other than that probably magnifies the fall in SP, by design IMO.
But that's just me.
