This also demonstrates the difficulty of securing funding for a li brine project based on a resource and a “plan”; history now shows that a plan full of assumptions and estimates, not backed by demonstable success with scalable processing tech, is very difficult to fund - LPI is the perfect example. Hence we continued with the tech derisking and development continuity by easily raising $30M to build the 2ktpa plant.
