I do not think the comments saying Stu has not been performing are fair at all.

I've been with Strike since before Jaws. Stu has seen the company through a lot. Theres been some good luck, a lot of bad luck, but against all odds he's kept the company afloat. For an oil n gas explorer, it is unheard of to survive so much.

Further, it was so quickly forgotten that Strike's run in Perth Basin was the longest run of successful wells of an exploration oil n gas company we've seen. Something like 12 wells before a bad one came through. It is unheard of. Everyone says their stock is being held down, but the wipeout last January (from our FIRST bad well) and the sideways trading since make no sense. It has nothing to do with Stu.

Strike don't need "new ideas" or a "fresh strategy". From nothing, Stu was building the company to be a producer of gas and energy. Strike's assets are class leading in Australia, attractive globally, with clear paths to gas and energy production, and we were heading there.

I think the timing of this and Gina recently buying in is no coincidence. Think back to the baseless 10% vote against at the last AGM. Some on here connected the dots on the percentages and who was probably behind it. I think losing Stu is a terrible shame for a company could have been a great contributor to what could be the beginning of WA as a global centre for industry. Now the egos left will sell it for chips, and you, I and WA will be worse off.
