Those are interesting assertions, Nose. You obviously know more about these things than me. Can you point me in the direction of some information about the scrap/mpi market? I'd like to learn more.

My understanding was that there was active global trade in MPI and that MPI and Scrap prices are closely linked. I might be mistaken, but my understanding seems to be supported by a chart shown at a presentation at the recent 2010 China International Pig Iron Industry Seminar. I can't quite see from this chart how your dumping theory fits in, but I'm interested to learn if you get the chance to explain.
