NAB - like all banks - had a good day yesterday. Really a follow on from global movements overnight where inflation cooling dominated the markets.
Can't see any head winds such as Star potentially going under affecting the banks. Any impact would be extremely minor anyway given the size of the big 4 banks and Macquarie.
I seem to recall that Star got financing from Macquarie, but my memory could well be off.
