Feasibility Study due end of Q1 25 envisages a 2.75Mtpa CIL operation MAU have been exploring the Laverton Gold Project since 2017, and over the years have undertaken a lot of drilling and has grown to 1.93Moz Au @ 1.81g/t Au of which 1.75Moz Au is at the Lady Julie Deposit.
The focus o drilling over the past 12 months has been the Lady Julie North 4 deposit (LJN9).
It comprises up to 3 stacked lodes with thick gold rich silica pyrite and breccia zones up to 50 metres. 10 months ago, MAU increased it Resource from 948Koz Au, to 1.55Moz Au an increase of over 50%.
The Company is currently finishing off a Feasibility Study on a Project that will involve 3 Open Pits and a concurrent Underground development.
A standalone CIP plant is envisaged on site processing 2.75Mtpa.
The Targeted output is 150Koz Au.
A Mining Proposal has been submitted to DEMIRS.
Given the publicity around another WA Gold Deposit this week with a Resource of 2.3Moz Au @ 1.2g/t Au, it might just be worth keeping an eye on the Good Lady Julie Dance card.
