When we were kids growing up in the early 50's we had very little furniture. We sat on timber fruit cases at a dining table made by the old man from second hand boards. Had to cut kindling to light the copper for hot water. Kerosene fridges were the norm. 32 volt power came from the milking machine via battery storage. Kerosene lamps when the power failed. Plenty of kids at school with no shoes. No wonder we were motivated and ambitious. Now the soft cocks complain about nearly everything. Jeez there will be a hell of a lot of whining when a flat white hits 8 or 9 bucks. tongue.png
