I must conclude that the "fair go", which has been an Australian article of faith since perhaps the great strike of the 1890s if not earlier, has finally passed away.
The deceased has been encoffined, the funeral coach drawn by four white horses stands ready, the required number of 12 dwarfs are on hand, and the great Australian heritage family is making its way to the rear of the procession.
