While all the is true, I've been in several companies that were involved in T/O deals. In every situation both parties were in T/H's. Sure the major won't be affected (in a positive way) as much, but I think by "law" (The ASX/ASIC is pretty rubbish anyway, but that's beside the point) they have to.
Personally I wouldn't count your chickens yet, but then I can't see the outcome being bad.
