What stance could they have - what are the options?
They appear to have agreed, to a shortish, smallish, less stringent safety protocols trial, so why not go with previous primary end points.
Perhaps their reticence may be due to the big difference from P2, and that is the two arm double blinded PLACEBO. (If so, why I wouldn't have a clue.)
