TPS revenue has been pretty disappointing for Jan so far, conditions haven't been seemingly too hot however this does change towards the back end of Jan, which we are seeing this week on the outlook https://aemo.com.au/energy-systems/electricity/national-electricity-market-nem/data-nem/data-dashboard-nem and coal units have all been weirdly pretty functional. Good news however today, looks like Bayswater Unit 2 in NSW is off https://wattclarity.com.au/articles/2025/01/21jan-bw02-offline-snags/ and not looking likely to return until 04/02. 760MW capacity taken out right as things are heating up is a massive win as NSW won't be able to assist as much to QLD. Can also see another 480MW capacity of coal generation has been taken out in QLD yesterday too
