Yes but not when you have a stretched balance sheet and price's are cyclically low. It wasn't that long ago LTR was looking for alternative financing arrangements after getting credit pulled. South32 MD when they suspended their buy back temporarily and did a nominal one framed it perfectly in my mind - saying something along the lines in mining it's about staying around to the next cycle and therefore they need to conserve cash.
Investor call mentioned the September qtr they will look at paying down debt and after that then dividends will be on the mind.
