When there is peace in the currency war between the US and China, when we we see a stop to the expanding middle class's in India and China, when europes debt woes ar put to bed and when the US dollar goes up on positive news about the US economy and down an negative news then I would be prepare to say emphatically that golds run has come to an end. Maybe!
Until then it is all manipulation in one way or another
