There are heaps of CRP tests developed however the benefit of Febridx is the combination of MXA in the test.
The MXA will confirm the viral nature where CRP tests the bacterial.
So if MXA is confirmed on Febridx, then you are considered Viral not bacterial and vice versa, if MXA not positive, then you are bacterial.
I think the other CRP tests just simply suggest, if no CRP positive, then you are viral.
LDX has IP over the use of MXA and the combination of CRP and MXA, so in generic articles, that could be the identifier between Febridx and any other CRP test.
My assumption is given the photo of ID Now then they would likely be using Abbots CRP test.
But agree, Nine put out the LDX article (sponsored by LDX anyway) and had it featured on the news, so the info is out there to some extent.
