My guess is that the CBA and the other banks want to kill off the likes of Smart PAy and Tyro’ business model so they can require all businesses large and small to use bank (monopoly or duopoly) terminals and for all companies which use the terminals (now 80% of retail transactions?) so as to kill off SMartPay and Tyro. Or am I too synical - haha ???
