The knowledgeable people on this IMU Forum , will know multiples of what I can read into the most recent Presentation .
So just random musings .
What struck me .....was Slide 7 , regarding onCARLytics ...Solid Tumours, which lack cd19 , REPRESENT 90 % of the Cancer Market !
And ---of the Drugs Available ...the latest of the two drugs , BREYANZI and ZYNLONTA , were first given FDA Approval in 2021 !
If ..and if the SLIDE portrays it and I read it correctly ...the FDA hasn't approved a similar drug to these two , since 2021 .
Whilst it certainly doesn't mean that several/many other drugs and treatments are going thru the trial process , as per IMU ...given the burden on hospitals and society that the growing and aging population that cancer is provided ...perhaps the advances that IMU has and is making , and the "urgency "that the FDA will see as its obligation to widen treatments and possible cures , 2025 might be the year to broaden treatment options ! NOT suggesting , for 1 minute , the stringent rules of APPROVAL by the FDA will be changed in any way .
No doubt it would also be a great feather in the cap of the new TRUMP ADMINISTRATION , if cancer treatment /cure made quantum steps forward in this 4 year term . So further thoughts to think /hope , that there is a lot going on behind the scenes at IMU , with certain BIG PHRMA's eagerly awaiting and more knowledgeable than us , on how the treatment status are progressing.
