If the hiring is well timed, this is a good sign. On the flip side, hiring can be ill timed if this is premature. It is a double edged sword, I hope they got the timing right. Been down that path when FBR was hiring left, right and centre, only to let those go! Whether the circumstances that led to letting these go was in or out of their control, the fact remain that the exercise then was money down the drain. Hopefully they have learned.
