We were only advised that LC abstained from making a recommendation on how to vote. There’s multiple reasons that could occur and most likely not a conspiracy theory like some on here keep trying to perpetuate.
I didn’t bother attending the EGM because the last one I attended was kept strictly to the business at hand, which was whatever the vote was for. It was dealt with swiftly and in a very straight forward and uncomplicated manner. So, not surprised at all to read there was no off-topic q&a session. People should not read anything into it. Also, registering proxy’s for the vote closed 48 hours before the meeting and voting during the meeting required registration so, they would have known in advance how the vote was going to go. So, like it or not, no one should be surprised the meeting was kept as brief as possible as there was nothing to gain from an extended meeting.
