As I see it all the shorts prior to 24 December have been set at prices above $4.35 thereabouts. That amounts to 5,219,929 shorts. Since then another 1.76 million shorts have been set at prices of less than $4.35. Thus only those most recent shorts are more exposed as the price increases.
